Embassy Performing Arts Center Celebrates Grand Opening After Extensive 9-Month Renovation

Waltham, January 31, 2024 – The new Embassy Performing Arts Center in Waltham is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its new facility following an extensive 9-month renovation. This special occasion marks the beginning of an exciting chapter for the community, as the center is set to become a hub for creativity, entertainment, and wellness.

The historical building of the Embassy Cinema has been given a new life, under new ownership. The Embassy Performing Arts Center (EPAC), located at 16 Pine Street, Waltham, features two cinema screens operated by Embassy Theater Waltham and four versatile activity rooms, hosting a wide array of performances and events operated by Boston Rhythmic. The new layout ensures a great experience for all visitors, whether they are attending a film screening, participating in a class, or enjoying a live performance.

The new center takes pride in offering a diverse range of classes suitable for all ages, from toddlers to seniors. Whether you are looking to explore the world of movement or enhance your well-being, EPAC has something for everyone. The lineup includes:

  • Yoga: Find tranquility and balance through our expert-led yoga sessions.
  • Zumba: Dance your way to fitness with high-energy Zumba classes.
  • Gymnastics: Master new acrobatic skills with programs for various levels.
  • Dance: Express yourself on the dance floor with a variety of styles.
  • Tumbling: Practice flips and tricks in a safe and supportive environment.

The center’s commitment to inclusivity is reflected in its diverse staff of 50+ talented individuals and the welcoming atmosphere that encourages everyone to explore their passions.

EPAC will celebrate its grand opening through a series of shows, open house events and movies, between February 7 and 13. During the ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, February 9 at 10am our doors will be open for the community to visit, tour the facility and learn about the upcoming events and programs. This event will feature live demonstrations, class previews, and opportunities to meet the instructors. Attendees will also have a chance to explore the newly renovated facility and learn about membership options.

Embassy Performing Arts Center invites the community to join in the festivities and experience the exciting possibilities that the center has to offer. During the February 9 ribbon cutting event you will have the opportunity to enter a raffle for a Grand Prize valued at $500.
