Oh, so much going on! October continues to be the month of connection here at Boston Rhythmic! Lots of initiatives helping us connect in and outside the gym!
Thank you to all our budding artists for participating in our Leotard Design Contest! Over 30 designs were submitted and they are all so different and creative! We asked a real designer to pick his top 5 creations and now we are asking all of you to please vote for your favorites between now and Saturday! Our grand prize winner will be picked by you! Votes will be counted on Saturday evening! Invite your friends to vote!
NEW programs:- Performance Team – almost full – see details below and get in touch with us if you are interested!
- Kyla’s Acro Club – will be offering specialty classes to learn and perfect your acro skills. We are starting next weekend with a class on Elbow Stands – details below.
- Masha’s Master Classes – details to come in the next newsletter
- Halloweek – a week long of events, costume parties, fun and prizes! Get your costumes ready!
- Our teams are already competing… there will be opportunities to compete – or watch competitions, almost every weekend!

| Our 7-9-year-old group is bursting at the seams with all current classes at capacity, so we are adding two new classes – one in the Watertown gym and one ONLINE. Please tell your friends! They will be grateful you shared this information! |

| Color me happy, there’s a new painting experience just for kids! We know that art is an important part of learning whether you’re 8 or 80. So it’s time to put down the screens and pick up a paintbrush!! Come join us on October 25 or 26 at Boston Rhythmic in Watertown for an in-person, social distant, instructor-led painting session with acrylic paint!! Our lovely instructor Letiana, founder of Let’s Paint Club, can’t wait to meet you! All supplies will be provided! You can sign up for one or both sessions, space is very limited. Best for boys and girls ages 5 to 12, but others are welcome as well. Bring a friend along! 🙂 You will go home with your very own canvas painting to hang on the wall in your room – or a perfect gift for the upcoming holidays for mom and dad. |

NEW! Performance Team Program in Watertown |

We know your kids are eager to perform so we are offering a NEW opportunity – our Performance Team for ages 5-6, 7-8, 9-11 years old. The requirement is to add a second class to your existing regular class schedule. This second class will focus on learning individual and group routines to prepare kids to perform in front of an audience. This year our performance opportunities will include online art festivals, town events, virtual show and in gym performance and when things open up, we will add town events, parades, festivals and more fun! We hope many of you will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity! This is a non-competitive program, separate from our Xcel and Junior Olympic teams.
5-6yo: Mondays 4-5:30pm – 5 openings
5-6yo: Saturdays 11:15-12:15pm – 2 openings!
7-8yo: Fridays 3:30-5pm – waiting list only
9-11yo: Fridays 5:15-6:45pm – ONE SPOT!

Kyla’s Acro Club in Watertown |

With over 70 students in her classes, Kyla is very busy this Fall! Still, there is always time for MORE FUN! Many of Kyla’s students have shown a strong interest in acro skills – so she is offering a series of special workshops starting this Sunday, to work on a specific acro skill each week. We are starting with:
ELBOW STANDS – Sunday October 25
ages: 5-6yo: 2:00-2:50pm
ages: 7-9yo: 3:10-4:00pm

We were so impressed with the 30+ designs submitted by our creative community to our leotard design contest! It is very difficult to pick a winner – in our eyes, you are ALL winners for creating such beautiful designs! Congratulations to all participants! We asked our designer friend Sam Donovan, Parsons College graduate and Project Runway Allstar to pick his top 5 favorites. We posted them at the link below – and we are asking you to vote for your favorite! Ask your friends to vote, too! The winner will go on a $50 shopping spree at Dancer’s Image in Newton! |

| Rachel, Level 7, is training hard in order to prepare for an international competition – Guimagym Cup on October 25th! This will be Rachel’s first International Competition! We wish Rachel good luck and will be cheering for you online Everyone can watch the competition, we will post the link on our Facebook pages! |
