Dear Boston Rhythmic Family,
It is hard to believe that we are at the end of November! Time flies! There is so much to be grateful for at this time of the year! I am very grateful for our amazing staff, so dedicated to the kids and our sport – tirelessly creating new wonderful experiences for our students – in gym or on the screen! And, I know I speak for all of them when I say we are grateful for our wonderful community at Boston Rhythmic – supportive parents, hard-working kids, excited fans, and friends cheering us on along the way!
This year has been challenging in more ways than one, but together we are standing strong – and it’s all thanks to YOU – each and every one of you who are still here, with us, practicing our beloved sport of rhythmic gymnastics. We have found so many ways to enjoy this beautiful sport in virtual events and competitions, new programs and classes, fun events and social media contests! I feel we are more connected than ever – and this is a blessing in disguise this year has brought along with all the challenges…
I know there are more challenges to come, but we are ready for it all! Our coaches are fully prepared to pivot each class on a moment’s notice – if we should ever need to move it online for ANY reason. You will receive this week your links for all your classes, and we are ready to offer your kids an amazing virtual experience to keep them engaged, active, and happy, keep them learning and advancing, healthy and safe.
I wish all of you a wonderful time with your families during the Thanksgiving holiday! Please stay safe and healthy and be cautious about your return to the gym if you choose to travel or gather over the holidays. Please see the details below.

To ensure a safe return to the gym after Thanksgiving, we will operate 100% REMOTE on Saturday and Sunday, November 28 and 29. At this time, we plan to be back in person on Monday, November 30, but this may change. Stay tuned to another email update.
Please remember: Masks need to be ON at all times while you are in the gym.
If you have been in contact with a COVID positive person, please let us know immediately so we can instruct you on what you need to do before you can return to the gym (in most cases, we will require a negative test or a 2-week quarantine).

Congratulations to all our beautiful gymnasts who participated in the Online Extravaganza Skill Evaluation and Competition! So much progress from every single gymnast and tons of fun and creative routines! The girls enjoyed the experience and got some good feedback from judge Suzi that will motivate them to work even harder!

NEW COMPETITION – BOSTON RHYTHMIC EXTRAVAGANZA |

We want to offer a competitive experience to ALL of our younger and recreational students! We are happy to offer the same format we tried last weekend with our teams, to all of our Rising Stars! There will be special awards for the top scores in the following 4 age groups: 3-4yo, 5-6yo, 7-9yo, 10-12yo. Everyone will get a beautiful participation award! You can register your kids on the phone app in the calendar.

NEW COMPETITION – HOPE Invitational |

HOPE Invitational – organized by our friends at HOPE Rhythmic Gymnastics school in Connecticut. This competition will be “in-gym,” meaning that the girls will come to the Needham gym, where we will compete via Zoom, and judges will evaluate the girls over Zoom.
Due to their limited capacity, we can only offer spots to about 20 kids, so please don’t delay signing up! Date: Sunday, December 20th Time: Between 11:15-2:30 pm (exact time to be announced later) Cost: $78 for one routine, $108 for two routines. Includes all fees, and admission for one parent. Registration: Through Boston Rhythmic app, click on the calendar, and find the event. Please make sure to register for the correct option (1 or 2 routines)t! *Masks required for everyone in the building (except while performing the routine, or if medically exempt, and all requirements for gatherings will be followed* |

NEW COMPETITION – Rhythmic Air Invitational |

Rhythmic Air Invitational. This competition will have both “in-gym” AND “at home” options, which is very exciting! In-gym competitors will compete from the Needham gym, via Zoom, and judges will evaluate the girls over Zoom. At-home competitors will compete from their own homes, and be awarded separately, to keep things fair. Date: Saturday, December 19th Cost: $99 for in-gym 2 routines, $66 for at-home two routines.
