Dear Boston Rhythmic Family,

Happy New Year! I hope your return to gym was as exciting for you as it was for us, the staff! We are so happy to see smiling kids in the gym and on screens! I hope you all got a chance to see my live message on January 7 – if not, please take the 3 minutes and share it with your kids. You can watch it here.

January is Friendship Month at Boston Rhythmic and we hope you will all feel inspired to participate in some way:

– Share your love for rhythmic gymnastics with a friend!
– Do an act of kindness to a stranger.
– Call a friend you haven’t talked to in a long time.

Spread the joy and hope, happiness and fun to everyone around you.

This is who we are.

This is who YOU are.

All of you said that the gym is your second home, that our community is your second family, we are so grateful to be that place for you…Today, more than ever, our kids need this safe heaven and the support of our rhythmic family, the stability and connection gymnastics brings to their lives.

I hope you will join me in spreading this message of hope, love and joy.

Friendship Month

January is Friendship Month at Boston Rhythmic! Bring a friend to our gym this month and earn the chance to win a FREE PHOTOSHOOT!

January 18 – Mini Camp in Watertown

Schools are closed but we will be open for your kids to spend their day doing gymnastics, playing, dancing and making some art!

January 18th, 9-1pm, $60/day – all ages and levels, space is very limited.

* Masks required to be on all the time in the building for everyone (if medically exempt, please let us know ahead of time)

TWO new exciting programs in the works

CAD Design and 3D Printing

Were you ever curious about CAD programming or 3D printing your own projects? Victor, our boys instructor, has a passion for this area and would love to share it with you! We are planning to organize a 1.5 hr workshop and would love to hear what the interest is, and which days/times you might be available. Mornings are easier to schedule, as we have more room in the gym. This program is open for both girls and boys 9 years old and up. Space is very limited, due to the nature of this program. Kids will get to learn about CAD programming, design their own little object and watch it being printed afterwards. Make your own jewelry, little toys or mechanisms! A fun and challenging extension of our program!

Breakdancing

Did you know? Breakdancing is now an OLYMPIC SPORT and Boston Rhythmic is planning on adding classes where your acro skills can be put to good use. Learn the cool footworks, how to do freezes, headspins, flares and more! If you love to move to music and want to challenge yourself with a more acrobatic dance style, this program might be for you! Let us know if you are interested in this new program.

COVID Reminder

Please remember: Masks need to be ON at all times while you are in the gym.

If you have been in contact with a COVID positive person, please let us know immediately so we can instruct you on what you need to do before you can return to the gym (in most cases, we will require a negative test or a 2-week quarantine).

We hope all our kids, staff, and their families stay healthy and safe during the holidays.
