Dear Boston Rhythmic Family,

I am very excited to announce our Summer Camp registration opening tomorrow, March 25. We are happy to offer IN PERSON camp this summer, for all competition levels and recreational kids of all ages. At this time, we are opening registration for our Watertown facility. Plans for the Westborough facility will be announced later.

Please see below requirements for camp for the teams.

Recreational kids can sign up for any week and any number of weeks.

Capacity for all groups is VERY limited so please do not delay securing your spot. Each group has a capacity of just 10 kids, and a wait list of 5. For some team groups this number is too low. We will do our best to accommodate everyone but we are constrained by space and regulations.

We will not charge any accounts until we confirm that you have booked the correct week for your level and age.We are so excited to shift into summer-planning mode! We’ve all missed the wonderful bonding, learning and fun happening at summer camp!

JOIN US FOR SUMMER CAMP

Boston Rhythmic has been offering high quality rhythmic gymnastic camps in the Boston area since July 2002. Our professional instructors will guide your kids through highly interactive activities like gymnastics, dance, ballet, arts, STEM and outdoor games. Your child will learn new skills, grow, connect with others and make new friends, in a fun, supportive and safe environment.

Week 1: June 14-June 18 – All ages and levels
Week 2: June 21-June 25 – All ages and Levels
Week 3: June 28-July 2 – Rec, Xcel A, Level 3, 7, 8, 9
Week 4: July 5 – July 9 – Rec, Xcel A, Level 3, 7, 8, 9
Week 5: July 12 – July 16 – Rec, Level 3, 6, 7
Week 6: July 19 – July 23 – Rec, Level 5, 6, 7
Week 7: July 26 July 30 – Rec, Level 4, 6
Week 8: August 2 – August 6 – Rec, Xcel B, Level 4, 6
Week 9: August 9 – August 13 – Rec, Xcel B, Level 4, 7, 8, 9
Week 10: August 16 – August 20 – Rec, Xcel C, D, Level 5, 8, 9

How to Register

Please head over to your Parent Portal, go to classes and pick a week of camp you’d like to register for as a class! Registration opens on THURSDAY, March 25th!

Recreational, Xcel, L3-6: 8:30am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday
Extended hours available 8am to 6pm for an additional fee

Level 7-8-9: 1pm-7 pm Monday to Friday

Summer camp tuition

Early Bird tuition: $450/week (if registering before April 10)
Regular tuition: $475/week (if registering between April 11 and May 30)
Level 7-8-9 Tuition: $400/week (1-7pm)
Last minute registration: $500/week (after June 1st)
Extended day: $100/week (only available for full week booked in advance)
Transfer fee: $25 (for each week you require to reschedule, pending that there is space in your desired week)

Sample daily schedule:

Each day is a bit different as we have fun daily themes like “Spa Day” or “Jungle day” or we change our weekly theme show, “traveling” to a different country each week, but in general, our day follows the same structure, outlined below. As always, we will prepare a show and perform each Friday at 3:30pm. Parents will probably have to watch us on Zoom as we will not be allowed to have parents in the gym this summer. Still, the kids will have the same fun, exciting experience learning dances and routines each week!

8:00am – early drop off
8:30am – morning activity
9:00am – warm up, stretching, ballet
10:00am – snack time
10:30am – free time
11:00am – dance
12:00pm – lunch time
1:00pm – theme event (spa day, pool, etc)
2:30pm – show routines
4:00pm – pick up time
6:00pm – pick up extended day
Training time is longer for the higher levels and shorter for the younger kids

Gymnast Placement and Camp Requirements

Team kids please inquire with your coach about placement for next season. Please register for summer with the level you will be NEXT YEAR, not this year. Please keep in mind that kids progress at different rates, try not to compare your child with another child and trust your coach that they are making the right recommendation for your child. Our teams have very limited capacity and fill up quickly. If interested, please inquire ASAP about joining a team starting with Summer 2021.

Camp is mandatory for all team members as follows:

  • Xcel: 2 weeks recommended

  • Level 3 and 4: 3 weeks mandatory

  • Level 5 to 9: 4 weeks mandatory

Good Memories of Past Summer Camps

Summer camp is one of our favorite times of the year! We’ve hosted camps for 20 years (wow!). We make friends for a lifetime at camp, grow together, learn together and have tones of fun together. Here is another snippet of good camp memories from 2019.

Regional Championship Dates

MAY 1-2, 2021- Level 4-5 & Beginner Groups
This will be a virtual event.

MAY 22-23, 2021 – Level 6-8
This will be potentially a hybrid meet. Athletes in person, Judges partial live and partial virtual.

COVID Reminder

Please remember: Masks need to be ON at all times while you are in the gym.

If you have been in contact with a COVID positive person, please let us know immediately so we can instruct you on what you need to do before you can return to the gym (in most cases, we will require a negative test or a 2-week quarantine).

We hope all our kids, staff, and their families stay healthy and safe while enjoying their rhythmic gymnastics classes.
